If you work fulltime it can be difficult to get your dog to the groomers. I am now offering evening appointments on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Txt or whatsapp me to book.

BATH AND BRUSH + NAIL TRIM

Shampoo, brush out and blow dry. Deshed if necessary. Nail trim.

FULL GROOM + NAIL TRIM

Bath, blow dry and brush out, trim nails, clip pads and tidy feet (mani/pedi), tidy sanitary area (dogkini). PLUS full clip and hand scissor head and body.

DOGS IN SEASON

If you have a female dog and you think they are in season, please delay your groom. She won't enjoy it and it will cause problems with other male dogs coming to the salon afterwards.


If you are new to dog ownership and don't know the signs to look for, if she is bleeding from her bottom, her lady bits are swollen and/or male dogs are taking an extra keen interest in her then she's probably in season. If you have a groom already booked, phone us to rebook. We will advise you wait two weeks till all these symptoms subside and then we can see her.

FLEAS

Please don't bring your dog to meif you think they have fleas. They are not a present other dog owners want to take home with them1 Please treat and then leave at least 5 days before coming to me.. If I do find fleas that you were unaware of,  I will contact you and there may be an extra charge for treatment..

CANCELLATION POLICY

Life can be busy and it's easy to forget that your dog is booked in for a groom. But please try not to cancel at the last minute as that spot will have been reserved for your dog and I may not be able to fill it at short notice. You will receive a reminder text the day before . If you can't make it let me know ASAP. Cancellation on the day or a no show may mean you will be asked for a deposit before you can book another appointment.


PUPPY GROOMS

Don't leave it until your puppy looks like a mop head to bring them for a haircut.  A puppy groom (from 7 weeks) will get them used to equipment like the bath, hairdryer, scissors and clippers.  A puppy groom includes bath, blow dry, face and feet tidy and nail clip. From £35

Hand stripping is a way to groom a dog without clipping. It is suitable for wire-coated breeds such as terriers, spaniels and some labradoodles. It gives a smart, smooth but natural finish that is kind to the coat.

Hand-stripping is a time-consuming and skilled job where a dog's rough, scraggly hair is plucked out. Allow 2 - 3 hours depending on the size of your dog,  Jacket (body), chest, and legs may be hand-stripped.

The finished effect is smooth and sleek. The dog's face may also be hand-stripped, although it is usual to leave some eyebrows and beard to give your dog some style and character

    My name is Lowri and I am a fully-trained and qualified dog groomer. I offer a personalised service to pet owners where my priority is not only to ensure your dog goes away looking great, but that they have a good experience too..

     There are plenty of big, busy dog grooming salons with a revolving door of different groomers around. But this can result in your dog getting more and more phobic about going for a haircut. They may plant themselves on the pavement outside the salon, cower behind your legs when your come or bark or bite the groomer on the table.  All signs of stress.


    I offer personal, one-to-one care so I can build a trusting relationship with your dog. That way,  they can enjoy coming for a groom. Most of my clients are regulars, many of whom have come to me since they were puppies. If you bring a puppy from 7 weeks, I can train it to enjoy a groom. I also have the patience to work with older dogs who may have become nervous or defensive with other groomers. The goal is trust and a great groom. 


    So whether you have a cheeky chihuahua, a cute cockapoo, a wonderful Westie or any other lovely doggy, bring them to me for anything from dog nail clipping to a bath and pamper or a full session of dog grooming.


    I am accepting new dogs, including puppes.
